Miracle Mile Art Walk
The third Saturday April Art Walk takes place on April 16th from 2-10pm, with many exhibitions happening throughout the day and night, including “Some Assembly Required” at Jack Rutberg Fine Arts, Photography exhibition “Busta and Schude” at Caporale/Bleicher Gallery, BETH VAN HOESEN - Etchings and Drawings at Tobey C. Moss Gallery, Iwan Baan and Daniel Cummings at ACME, and many others. All participating galleries will be marked with MMAW banners. During the day of the Art Walk, Park La Brea’s Earth Day Celebration will be taking place, where CAFAM will have a booth and will be participating in the kids’ arts and crafts. The PLB Earth Day event is from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Park La Brea Activities Center 475 S. Curson Avenue, West. MKG 2 generously hosts the April after party - a new temporary project space for Merry Karnowsky Gallery at 171 S. La Brea 90036, where an opening exhibition for artist Samuel Lowder (FrePres) will take place that evening from 7-10pm. In honor of Earth Day/Night, the Yalla Food Truck will also be nearby serving up vegetarian and vegan falafels. |
