The Loft at Liz's
Exhibit: April 5, 2011- May 10, 2011 Opening reception: April 9, 2011, 7pm-10pm Artists talk: April 16, 2011, 4pm-5pm In conjunction with the Miracle Mile Art Walk and MOPLA, The Loft at Liz’s presents About Face – A New Perspective on Photographic Portraiture. This show includes an eclectic mix of facial and full body portraiture with elemental mixed media. Featuring the works of 9 amazing artists, About Face puts a new twist on conventional photographic works – incorporating mixed media with traditional photographic portraiture. Featured artists include: Aline Smithson, Anna Stump, Franklin Londin, Pascal Giacomini, Paula Kayne, Stéphane Tourné, Ted Meyer, Wahb Mabkhout, and Tim Sabatino. Also included in the opening reception will be a live art and model session with Ted Meyer and Anna Stump as they feature their “Exploded Tattoo” series in the alley behind The Loft at Liz’s. |
