Ten Los Angeles Photographers use Mark Twain’s adage as inspiration for a unique exhibition: “Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; truth isn’t.” Each of the photographic artists discovers stories they find curious or mystifying and create imagery that represents the essence of the narrative. The result is a humorous and thought-provoking collection of photographs and stories that all hold some shreds of unreal reality.

On view through April 24, 2016.
