There are very few companies worldwide that can be proud of such a long company history like Hahnemühle’s. Founded back in 1584 as a paper mill in South Lower Saxony’s Solling uplands, Hahnemühle developed – strictly according to the spirit of its founding fathers – into a customer-oriented and innovative manufacturing facility.

It goes without saying that the products and manufacturing methods have changed to a certain extent since 1584. In the beginning, the product range solely comprised mould-made writing paper but later, artist papers and the Hahnemühle invented fine-art inkjet papers for digital print were added to the range. Furthermore, Hahnemühle papers have been used for decades in industrial production or manufacturing processes as well as in research laboratories. At the same time, several things have remained the same, such as our high quality standard that guarantees our customers the purest papers for art or technical applications.

From our earliest days of striving to make consistently good beer, and instead making beer that ranged from vile, to barely drinkable, to wonderful, to elegant, to questionable-at-best. From being castigated by our West Marin neighbors to finally suffering an 'eviction' by our West Marin septic system. From landing in the welcoming arms of Petaluma, and actually getting our beer into bottles, onto the streets, and into the hands of sympathetic beer geeks, to steadily losing less money each month. From all this and more, Lagunitas Brewing Company is emerging as a battle-tested brewery capable of making great beer out of goat's milk, brambles, and asphalt on the surface of the Moon, if need be.

Edwin Land, the founder of Polaroid and the inventor of the world’s first instant camera and film, once said, “Don’t undertake a project unless it’s manifestly important and nearly impossible.” The founders of The Impossible Project took him at his word when, in 2008, they purchased the last factory in the world manufacturing Polaroid instant film. Their aim was simple: to save 200 million Polaroid instant cameras from becoming utterly useless.

Two years later, the fledgling start-up began producing its own re-formulated versions of classic Polaroid instant film formats, including SX-70, 600, and Image-Spectra, as well as 8x10, at plants in Enschede, in The Netherlands, and Monheim, Germany.

Today, Impossible is no longer a ‘project’ but a fast-growing company with around 130 employees in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, France, the USA, Japan and China. Its core products are analog instant film, refurbished Polaroid cameras, and its own-designed range of analog instant cameras. But Impossible’s ambitions are bigger: from its new creative headquarters in Berlin, Germany, Impossible is intent on creating the future of analog instant photography.

PBR is not just any beer- so you would expect the history to be a bit unusual, and it is. Pabst was originally called "Select," but people started asking for that "Blue Ribbon" beer in 1882 when we started tying silk ribbons to the bottles. We officially added the words "Blue Ribbon" to the bottle in 1895.

Pabst was the first brewery to put beer in cans back in 1935. This was Blue Ribbon beer but it was called "Export" when sold in the can. Our first cans had a picture of a can opener on the side with instructions on how to open the can of beer, with the can opener.

Today, this classic American brew has been adopted by a whole new generation of PBR drinkers. Currently, PBR is one of the fastest growing domestic beer brands. When you're this good, quality always comes through-PBR ME ASAP!

Frey Vineyards – Mendocino County organic wine with no sulfites added, from America's pioneering organic winery. Also, the first maker of certified Biodynamic® Wines in the U.S.
We have always been family-owned and operated, and today a third generation helps with the production of fine organic wines in a tradition of sustainability started nearly 30 years ago. Our vineyards and winery are nestled on the slopes of the Redwood Valley A.V.A. (American Viticultural Area) in Mendocino County, California, at the headwaters of the Russian River. All of our wines are made with no added sulfites. Our innovative winemaking techniques compensate for the lack of this synthetic preservative (which can induce headaches, sniffles, and other allergic reactions in some people). The wine is therefore free to reveal its delicate and true flavors. Today, we are pleased that many more wineries and grape growers have become certified organic and Biodynamic®, for the health of our common environment as well as our customers.

DRY is soda for everyone. Created specifically to be a less sweet soda, DRY has just four all natural ingredients and is sweetened with a minimal amount of pure cane sugar. DRY contains 1/4 to 1/3 of the sugar and calories of traditional soda, which allows its fruit, flower, and herb flavors to shine through. DRY Soda is certified gluten free, OU certified kosher, caffeine free, and sodium free. Available in slim aluminum cans as well as glass bottles, DRY Soda is ideal to sip, pair, or mix for any occasion.

Based in California, we’re all about getting Barefoot & Having a Great Time!

In 1965 most people were tinkering with cars in their garage. Davis Bynum was tinkering with wine. He created Barefoot Bynum Burgundy in that tiny room. But our spirited ways really began with our founders, Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey. In 1986, they took a sleepy label and gave it Sole. Both agreed it was time for a wine that didn't take itself too seriously. So, Barefoot Cellars was created (Bonnie liked the name because it was easy to pronounce) and initially run out of their home. Some say the office was so small you had to go outside to change your mind.

Our founders began with two big varietals that were all about bringing the fun back: California Cabernet Sauvignon and California Sauvignon Blanc. Michael and Bonnie searched for the perfect image to represent their new wine. Finally, Bonnie just rolled out some paper, stepped on the biggest inkpad she could find and left her mark. It's been on our label ever since.

Tito's Handmade Vodka is produced in Austin at Texas' first and oldest legal distillery.  It's made in small batches in an old fashioned pot still by Tito Beveridge (actual name), a 50-something geologist, and distilled six times.  Tito's Handmade Vodka is designed to be savored by spirit connoisseurs and everyday drinkers alike.  It is microdistilled in an old-fashioned pot still, just like fine single malt scotches and high-end French cognacs.  This time-honored method of distillation requires more skill and effort than modern column stills, but it's well worth it.

REEDS, Inc. is making extraordinary beverages and confections using very old-fashioned, natural methods and wholesome, fresh ingredients. We are a growing family of passionate entrepreneurs who have developed food and drink, which in our opinion exceed any products within their categories in taste, quality and imagination, as we are certain you noticed by now!

Long before modern soft drinks existed, people brewed their own beverages. In the Caribbean, home brewed ginger beverages are a part of life.

Currently, we make six flavors of Reed's Ginger Brew: Original, Extra, Premium, Raspberry, and Spiced Apple. Non-alcoholic, all are freshly brewed in a brewery using fresh ginger root, spices, and fruit juices. All of our beverages use filtered sparkling water.Other soft drinks use flavor crystals, chemicals, or other flavorings to maintain an inexpensive and consistent taste. That's why some "natural" drinks have no color! All the flavor and health benefits of Reed's brews are from the actual ingredients. The use of fresh ingredients leads to slight variations in both flavor and the heat of the ginger.

Image in Progress is a new international publication that wants to tell the story of the players of the image industry in its ongoing developments. Photography here is seen as a creative and artistic expression, as a publishing and advertising medium that is not just a mere representation but dares to interpret.

Exclusive interviews with major international names, professionals that work behind the scenes, promising talents... and their personal exclusive texts about the workings in the backstage of the images that surround us or we wish they would surround us make Image in Progress an innovative publishing enterprise for aficionados and professionals who, in one capacity or another, participate in the creative process and have to make choices in this industry.

Photographers, publishers, gallery owners, location scouts, set designers, art directors, photo editors, stylists, make-up artists, hair stylists, models, postproducers… are all professional figures that rarely get recognition beyond credits but in Image in Progress they can tell their story, their technical choices, their tricks of the trade with useful advice and represent a very focused readership to reach.

Opened in September 2006, Boulevard3 was sparked by Famulari's initial reaction to the space five years ago. A former denizen of New York City, he says, "This was how I visualized clubs: big, free-flowing, dramatic. I felt it was the only place that could possibly follow Skybar." Having experienced such New York venues as Studio 54 and The Tunnel in their heyday, he was also motivated to open a venue that shattered the malaise of the typical club scene. "There really are no dance places in Los Angeles," states Famulari, who probably knows L.A. nightlife better than anyone after working to keep Skybar hot for nearly a decade. "People go to clubs and stare at each other."

While eschewing nostalgia for its own sake, Famulari chose the name Boulevard3 after viewing an old surveyor's map of Los Angeles. At the time, when the city was just beginning to take form, the east/west streets were marked by numbers, with "Boulevard3" the designation for what would later become Sunset Boulevard. With a new paradigm for L.A.'s club scene brimming with possibilities, Famulari hopes to recapture a sense of grace, elegance and engagement that once put Hollywood on the map.
